Chapter 59A-36, F.A.C., provides that staff who have regular contact with or provide direct care to residents with ADRD shall obtain 4 hours of initial training within 3 months of employment AND an additional 4 hours of training within 9 months of employment.  FALA offers training for Alzheimer's Level I, Alzheimer's Level II, and Alzheimer's Update classes.

Pre-registration and full payment in advance are required to attend this course. All refunds or transfers are subject to a $10 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than one week prior to class. FALA reserves the right to cancel a class if a minimum number of students is not met. Students will be notified no less than three days prior to the scheduled class date if cancelled and will be given the option of transferring to another class date/location or receiving a full refund.
